Social Media: The powerful solution to the most complex communicator on the planet

“In the meantime, stop demonizing social media because it is not the core of your problems, insecurities, or issues”

What is demonized so frequently, and I have done this often and still find myself slipping into this mindset, is the internet and social media.

What people say is wrong with social media is exactly what they are internally struggling with.

What is social media? It is merely the byproduct of people’s inner thoughts, feelings and desires, which are used to either love or judge other people in all walks of life.

That is social media at its core, and it is really just a personification and magnification of what our brains do in real life, but on social media, reactions are put into words, pictures, and videos, and once something is put out there, you cannot take it back.

So, why people demonize social media is actually quite simple. They put out their insecurities and latch them onto other people through words, pictures and videos so that they don’t have to go through the pain and feel the remorse and everything that we should feel in order to overcome that specific emotion.

That is what humans are.

Imperfect. WE need to feel and get through those emotions, first alone, and then with other people to become better and grow as people, as communities, and as a world.

The simple answer to your question of why do I feel so inferior, unconfident, worthless, anxious, depressed is that it is not caused by social media.

Sure, part of it could be caused by social media, which could be enlarging your current symptoms into something they never would have grown to without social media, but that is not the root of the problem.

The actual problem lies within you. I know, super cheesy and philosophical way to answer the age old question of: How do I get over my fears? But it’s the truth.

You have to love and appreciate all of your demons before you can crush them with each day that passes and become a better, stronger, more confident person.

Next post will be specifically focused on what exactly ‘demons’ are and where they come from, how to get rid of them, and how to learn to give yourself gratitude and love like you used to when you were a little kid.

In the meantime, stop demonizing social media because it is not the core to your problems, insecurities, or issues. You are, in reality. If you want a permanent solution to your problems, check out the articles we have on mindset. It is the first button on the dropdown labeled ‘posts’.

Love you guys. Let’s grow together and use social media to our benefit, to help people, and start to drown out the people who only use it to spread their own insecurities, their own negativity.

Come and win with me.
