Equality

I will always choose to believe that everyone is born equal.

The choices that people make after they’re born are, for the most part, their own. And their beliefs, are, for 95% of the population, their own. That is why I refuse to believe anyone who says that a person who is not of white skin color is somehow inferior to white people. I refuse to believe anyone who says that women are inferior to men based on a belief that has taken people centuries to just slightly overcome in a very small portion of the world. I refuse to believe that people can’t be born with a genome that causes them to love people that are not “standard” In the eyes of the wealthiest members of our society.

We support the Black Lives Matter movement. We support the Women’s Rights movement. We support the LGBTQ+ movement. We support any group that is facing discrimination based upon race, gender, color, creed, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. We will fight for these groups of people because they are, unequivocally, people, and as I mentioned earlier, everyone is born equal.

It is only what we choose to interpret as right and wrong do we then stray from beliefs of equality to a place of hatred caused by difference, when difference should be celebrated worldwide. Change is coming. Come change with us.
